Empowering

“Do the things what makes you happy.” Yeah sure I thought. I’ve lived the busy everyday life with kids for quite some years. The kind of life where you have carried out family duties for two hours from 06-08. And only then start your commute to the office. Then you breath in and start orientating to your office job . It is not important how much you love your chores: waking up the kids, making breakfast, getting everyone dressed, and whisking the kids to daycare. Life can still be a hassle.

I have loved my office job. Succeeding every day at the office empowered me. And for a long time my passion for my work was empowering me. My time at work was time, where I got to be creative and daring. “Do the things what makes you happy” Im told by magazine covers and slogan imagery every day. The prompt only makes me feel miserable. I am a seven-eleven working mom. Doing the things I love haven’t been on top of my list lately.

But, building up these pages on WordPress was a empowering. I got to learn new, feel joy of being creative and to be the best of my class.

So simple it was – I was empowered.
