How did it begin?

How did it begin? When was it when I first knew what I wanted to do when I grew up? I grew my courage for some time before becoming an entrepreneur – or even a small scale freelancer. After my children were born I decided it was time to stop being scared for failure, and decided to make a run for it. Thrive, and let others thrive.

For most of my adult life I have thought, talked and dreamed of marketing communication. I say communication, since today traditional marketing is so much more than what I do. Lets leave automation and algorithms to the colleagues who have the know how for it. I concentrate on the human experience. I have worked with B2C product offerings, partner management and in heavy hands on customer care duties. Later on my roles in leadership have thought me to understand influencing. Driving a change or influencing on a decision we are always dealing with the person in the middle. No matter how large corporations we represent, no matter how algorithms direct us; at the end decisions are always made by a person.

Others spend their free time planning the living rooms deco. I sit in a buss thinking about how we could brighten the USP:s of a local grocery-store. I plan product portfolio development and communication ideas for local entrepreneurs.

Why wouldn’t I do what I love? Could I turn a passion into a profession?
